Terms of Service

Acceptance
By creating an account or using Babagigi, you agree to these Terms. If you are creating an account on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these terms on their behalf.
The Service
Babagigi provides a platform for families to record, share, and enjoy multilingual stories across generations. You may use the service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial Story Circle use.
Your Content
You own the stories, recordings, and storybooks you create. By using Babagigi, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service. We will never use your family's stories for AI training or any purpose beyond delivering the service to you.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or harmful to children
- Attempt to access other families' data
- Use the service for commercial purposes without written permission
- Reverse engineer or scrape the platform
Subscriptions & Billing
Free accounts are subject to usage limits. Paid “Family Plan” subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods except where required by law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which will permanently remove all circle data.
Limitation of Liability
Babagigi is provided “as is”. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
